Requesting a Loaner VEHICLE
If you are visiting our website, you are likely in need of safe and reliable transportation due to an unforeseen event that caused you to lose your primary mode of transportation to and from work. We are here to help. Our car lending program supports people who are under-employed and who are in or hovering above poverty maintain employment when they find themselves without viable transportation. If you need a car to maintain your employment, contact us. We understand that employment is your livelihood and we are here to help you.
What to expect when you contact us?
Loan-A-Car Applicants will need to complete an application and needs assessment. The needs assessment is simply a summary of other needs that we may be able to help you with or provide you with resources and referrals to aid you.
Without exception, each applicant will need to provide:
Proof of Age - Using a valid driver’s license
Proof of Residence – using a current utility bill, residential lease or mortgage statement
Proof of Employment – using your most recent pay stub dated within 30 days. If in school, must provide current full-time school schedule.
Proof of Vehicle Insurance – using current insurance id cards or policy statement
We also require a refundable deposit of $50 to ensure that the vehicle is returned to us with the state in which it was loaned and with a full tank of gas.

Question: What is the cost for your services?
Answer: The cars will be loaned out for free based on the client’s inability to pay.
Question: How long can a person borrow a vehicle?Answer: No longer than one week.
Question: Who do we service?
Answer: Anyone who is having a minor hardship with transportation that's hindering continue employment, getting employment or going to school or to even get to an interview.
Question: Who is responsible for the Auto Insurance
Answer: The driver. Our lending program provides an alternate vehicle to the person if their vehicle becomes inoperable temporarily.
In considering your eligibility we will also ensure that you meet our income guidelines. Income eligible applicants are people who are employed and earn at or below 200% of the federal poverty level (FPL). See the current FPL below.
